What is next for Central and Eastern Europe?

Neighbourhood and Enlargement
Date: Wednesday, 21 November 2018 17:30

Venue: Bruegel

With European Parliament elections, new European Commission and Brexit, the 2019 will be a pivotal year for Europe. Complex challenges are still to be resolved, including migration, the next multiannual financial framework, dangerous Euroscepticism and populism, digital transformation and many others. What will be the priorities for Central and Eastern Europe? Is there a more pronounced than ever divide between the East and the West of Europe? Can we find a common ground between national demands and the strengthening of the European project?

On 21 November Bruegel, together with GLOBESEC are organising a closed-door workshop to discuss these issues.

The event is closed-door and invitation-only for Bruegel’s members and select experts.
