The EU institutions are currently undertaking ambitious reforms of lobby transparency. The Commission has proposed a mandatory lobby register. In times of rising Euroscepticism and questions around trust and democratic decision-making playing a key role in elections across Europe, can the institutions succeed in bringing more transparency to EU decision-making? What is the is the state of play with the negotiations, 11 months ahead of the European elections?
