Artificial Intelligence 2018 - Developing a European Strategy for AI

ICT and Digital Agenda
Date: Thursday, 18 October 2018

Venue: Contact organisers for location details  |  City: Brussels

On 18 October in Brussels, stakeholders will gather for a one day policy debate that will explore where Europe can lead in the AI revolution, and how it can shape global policy approaches. Discussions will be animated via panel debates, in-conversation interviews, tech-talks and keynotes.

Forum Europe's AI conference will take place following a period of reflection on the European Commission's AI initiative announced in April, and will come on the back of the high-level ministerial meeting in Finland on AI.

Themes for AI 2018 will include:

  • Access, re-use and sharing of data to improve machine and deep learning
  • Research and innovation, open development and cooperation between industry and the public sector
  • Ethics, ethical design and legal frameworks
  • Employment and digital skills

The event will look at how AI is being deployed across sectors and industries, to bring to life its applications and where it can have real impact.

Further information will be released in due course. If you are interested in getting involved in this event, please contact Joe Rossiter on +44 (0) 2920 783 078 /  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
