UNDERSTANDING ITALY: CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES IN THE EUROPEAN CONTEXT

Institutional and Political Issues
Date: Wednesday, 11 July 2018 09:30 - 12:00

Venue: BRUEGEL  |  City: Saint-Josse-ten-Noode

After more than 2 months since the elections, a difficult negotiation and a great deal of political and institutional turmoil, Italy finally has a new government. While this has tamed tensions on the financial markets in the immediate short term, the outlook for the future remains highly uncertain.

In this closed-door, off-the-record workshop we will explore both the roots of Italy’s economic and political challenges and what lies ahead.

This invitation-only event is only open to Bruegel members and a small number of selected invitees.
