Venue: The Press Club Brussels Europe  |  City: Etterbeek, Belgium

Centre for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies (CACDS, Ukraine) invites for a discussion on the issues highlighted in new book by Russian professor Yury Fedorov Russia between Fascism and Disintegration.
To the author’s opinion, either the establishment of a fascist regime, or the growing separatist tendencies ultimately resulting the collapse a state will be the two most likely prospective scenarios for Russia in the nearest future.

Is Dr. Fedorov right about his hypothesis?
Will Russia succeed in its transformation from authoritarianism to “normal” democracy?
Which scenario (“Fascism” or “Decay”) would be more preferable for Europe?
What can Europe offer Russia in order to avoid “Fascism” or “Decay” scenarios?

Dr. Yury Fedorov (Russia), Amb. Volodymyr Ogryzko (Director of the Centre for Russian Studies, Ukraine, former Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine), their colleagues from CACDS and experts on Russian issues from European think tanks will discuss these and other questions. We expect active participation of the audience in our unbiased and open discussion. #EUevents
