This workshop will look at how the European Semester is implemented in the EU Member States from the perspective of local and regional authorities, and how a stonger involvement of local and regional authorities could help to implement structural reforms.

The workshop will feature a key debate on the possible role of financial incentives, conditionality and capacity building measures, to enhance the implementation of structural reforms.
