Taking into account the recent news about regional autonomy and independencies in Europe, for instance in Catalonia, it is relevant to have a point of view from the inside about the regionalisation process.

The debate will be focused on the EU's position in facing the increasing importance of regional entities, particularly in the context of decentralization policies and wishes of independence of certain regions. Is Europe a loudspeaker for regions?
Does Europe make it easier for regions, guaranteeing a common currency and common commercial agreements, as well as providing structural funds?
Is regional diversity an opportunity for a more representative and more integrated Europe, stemming from the necessity to go for a decision-making method less centered on unanimity?
Or, conversely, is regional selfishness a risk for the longevity of the Union?

We hope to welcome you there numerously and to experience a lively debate together!
