This event will see the launch of a report on EU-China relations and discuss issues such as trade and investment, indusstrial cooperation and innovation and global governance.

This event sees the launch of a report by Bruegel, Chatham House, China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong on EU-China relations.  The event will discuss the outcomes of the report. Topics include the idea of an EU-China FTA, the development of bilateral investment flows, reciprocity issues, the potential for cooperation in the field of intellectual property and the impact of high-level strategies such as China’s ‘one belt one road’ vision.

Note that the agenda of this event is still under construction. More information will follow soon.

The agenda is comprised of four sessions;

9:00 – 10:00 Welcome and presentation of the report

10:00 – 11:15 Trade and Investment

11:30 – 12:45 Industrial Cooperation and Innovation

13:30 – 14:45 Global Governance
